We're Grow Geeks, and we're all about Smart, Potent, Simple growing at an affordable price. We believe that you shouldn't need to spend weeks researching how to be an expert grower, when all you really want to do is just get started. Our first product, the Grow Bucket, is be the embodiment of these beliefs. With the Grow Bucket all you will need to do is water it twice a week (everything you'll need is included in the box), and you can grow about 1-2 ounces (depending on your plant) every 3 months.
The Earth is blanketed with about 50,000 LUX (lumens / m²) on a warm sunny day, and plants need between 25000 - 50000 LUX to grow at their optimum speeds. With 180 watts of trapped LED light you get about 40,000 LUX, which translates to potent yields and freaky fast grow speeds.
Mylar is a reflective wall covering used in greenhouses and grow rooms to direct unused light back to the growing space. Mylar boosts the efficiency of the LED lighting, and because all that light is focused on a single plant instead of needing to fill an entire grow tent, we're able to provide power levels similar to significantly more expensive grow systems.
Plants need to breath fresh air to stay healthy just like we do. Without proper circulation they can become sick and infested. In addition, plants require a constant supply of fresh CO2 in order to process light with photosynthesis. With three 80mm cooling fans, the CO2 in the air is able to get inside each bucket to keep your crops healthy and strong.
It's not always desirable to fill up entire rooms of your house with grow equipment. Our buckets are super compact for the amount they produce, which gives you freedom to grow where you want. You could even fit multiple buckets in a small closet, allowing you to scale your grow as much as needed.
Every time you double the distance from a light source, you lose three-fourths of the power. This means that in order to get the fastest grow speeds, you need to keep your light as close to your plants as possible. With stacking spacers, you can easily raise the height of your light as your plant grows for optimum results.
